Pineapple Parent Club: Photography & Videography Policy

At Pineapple Parent Club (PPC), our mission is to connect parents and part of this is showing the world the 'village' we are building together. Capturing the tea, the chats, and the community in action is essential for us to share the wonderful things happening at PPC, which in turn, helps more people find us. You yourself may have found PPC from social media so will understand how important this content is for us to grow and support more local parents.

While parents are always our primary focus, we know that with toddlers and older children in tow, they are naturally part of our events. We want to respect your family's privacy while celebrating our community.

Our Commitment to You

Adult Focus: We aim to capture the connection between parents. Children are often in the frame simply because they are part of what you are doing at the event.

Anonymity & Security: We will never include children's names, ages, or any other identifiable personal information in captions, tags, or descriptions linked to images or videos.

Respectful Handling: If you do not opt-in for your child, we will do our utmost to avoid including them in shots (we may ask you to step aside briefly while we record a specific clip).

Please Note: In a busy room of parents and children, it is impossible to guarantee a child won't appear in the background. If you have not opted in for your child and they appear in a photo or video, we will ensure their face is obscured before the content is used.

You will be asked to provide photography consent for your children on registering to PPC. If you (parents) have an issue with your own images being used for promotional purposes, please inform Nikki at pineappleparentclub@gmail.com.

You can withdraw or change your consent at any time by emailing Nikki at pineappleparentclub@gmail.com.

Data Handling

By registering, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal data for event management and communication purposes.

 

Data will be handled securely and used only in compliance with applicable data protection laws, including the GDPR.

Your data will not be shared with third parties without your explicit consent.
